Who We Are

The company, "Moss Side and Hulme Community Development Trust" (MSHCDT), is a registered Charity and the management company for the Moss Side & Hulme Business Park which is located along Alexandra Road in Manchester.

The Charity is a vibrant and dedicated organisation committed to empowering and transforming the lives of people in Moss Side, Hulme, and the surrounding communities in Manchester, UK. Since our establishment, we have been driven by a simple yet powerful mission: To use the working tools, in order to apply Mechanism to create a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Rooted in the heart of one of Manchester's most culturally rich and diverse areas, we work tirelessly to address local challenges, foster community cohesion, and drive positive change.

Founded in the heart of Manchester, MSHCDT was established to address the social and economic challenges facing Moss Side and Hulme. Over the decades, we have evolved into a trusted hub for community support, bridging gaps and creating lasting change.

What We Do

Our flagship project is the provision of supportive environment for small businesses to start and grow. This is currently being achieved via the management of the business park which rents out premises to small business and enterprise (SME) sector of the community.

Community Development

We support local residents to take an active role in shaping their neighbourhoods, fostering a sense of ownership and pride.

Employment and Skills

Through training, workshops, and partnerships, we help individuals gain the skills and confidence needed to secure employment and achieve their career goals.

Health and Wellbeing

We promote physical and mental wellbeing by providing access to health initiatives, fitness programmes, and support services.

Youth Engagement

We invest in the next generation by offering youth programmes, mentoring, and activities that inspire and empower young people.

Housing and Environment
