Caribbean Colouring Group

A free monthly art session fostering creativity and connection within the elderly Caribbean community at the Windrush Millennium Centre.

About the Caribbean Colouring Group

The Caribbean Colouring Group at the Windrush Millennium Centre is one of the projects currently co-sponsored by the Moss Side and Hulme Community Development Trust. This free art session aims to combat loneliness and anxiety within the elderly Caribbean community.

Founded by Lorraine Bell, inspired by her father, the group has been fostering creativity and connection since August 2023, attracting around 20 regular attendees to our monthly sessions.

Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking to explore your creative side, there's always room for more in this welcoming environment, where friendships flourish and joy is painted in every stroke. Don't miss the chance to be part of this uplifting community! Sessions are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
